1. What should I do to prepare for my cleaning schedule ?
If you live in a house, please clear driveways for our vehicle because we're using truck mounted system where the carpet cleaning machine is mounted in the truck therefore the closer we are to the areas to be cleaned, it will be more efficient and better drying time can be achieved.
If you live in an apartment and parkings are tough around your complex, please reserve a parking spot closest to your unit, that way we can park our vehicle in that spot for efficiency reason and that would be greatly appreciated by us and our technicians.
If you live in high rises apartment complex, we can still clean your unit with our portable cleaning machine, however please mention this situation when you make your appointment, so that we can schedule you when our portable cleaning machine is available ( all of our vans have truck mounted cleaning system but not all of them have portable cleaning system ).
2. What is the drying time ?
It varies depending on the type of fibers and the thickness of the paddings as well as the conditions of the carpets, for our standard steam cleaning job it's between 1 - 4 hours for most carpets ( when outside temperature is 75 degrees and up ). if you need additional treatments due to soiling or pet related accidents, etc, it can take up to 24 hours.
There are things you can do to cut these drying times in half, by turning fans on, blowing towards the carpets or upholsteries after the cleaning, also keep your eyes open on the outside humidity level, the lower the humidity is, the better chance of the carpets and upholsteries to dry faster, if humidity is high, it's better to close all windows and turn air conditioner or heater on.
3. What do I do with my furnitures ?
We can move some light furnitures ( e.g. sofas, loveseats, coffee tables, end tables, dining chairs, etc ), we do not move any electronics, breakables and heavy furnitures, if you don't move them prior to the technician's arrival, we will work around them, please discuss the furniture moving with the technicians upon their arrival.
4. What if there are some stains you can't remove ?
We always give assessments and everything will be explained prior to doing the cleaning, if there are possible permanent stains, our technicians will point them out to you and give you a heads up, of course we will do everything in our power to try to get the stains out but not all stains are removable, just like some stains you may have on one of your shirt or dress :-)
We guarantee our service only on spots and / or stains that we remove during cleaning ( 7 days guarantee ), providing that you honor our technicians' recommendations on what needs to be done on your carpets, e.g. if you need deep cleaning and our technicians recommend it and you don't want to do it and just want us to steam clean your carpets, we will be happy to steam clean your carpets, however we can not offer you our satisfaction guaranteed.
5. What are your working days and hours ?
Our working days are Mondays through Saturdays, our working hours are 8 - 7, appointments are made in 2 hours of window arrival time, the first window is between 8 and 10 am, the latest one is between 4 and 6 pm ( some days between 5 - 7 ).
We are not working on Sundays however we can schedule appointments on Sunday, so if you need Monday appointment, feel free to call and if we don't pick up please leave us a message and someone will get back to you asap to schedule you in, any of our numbers has one voice message system, so if you call one number and don't get an answer, most likely we are experiencing high volume of calls and you won't get an answer either through other numbers, however we do check our voice mails often and return our voice messages promptly.
6. How soon can you come clean my carpets ?
Appointments are made based on first come first serve basis, so availabilities are varies week by week, our busiest days are Fridays and Saturdays, we would highly recommend to book your appointment as early as possible to get you the best choice of time.
We do same day service based on availability as well as next day service also based on availability.
7. How long does it take to clean my carpets ?
Based on 2 crews per van ( most common ), to clean 1 - 2 rooms, it'll take around 20 - 30 minutes, 3 - 4 rooms would be around 45 minutes to an hour, stairs typically will take around 15 - 20 minutes per flight, a whole house plus stairs will take approximately between an hour and 15 minutes to about an hour and a half ( average home size ).
8. Which areas do you serve ?
We serve San Fernando valley, San Gabriel valley and Greater Los Angeles area, we've listed most cities in our "home" tab, if your city is not listed or you're not sure feel free to call and ask, worst case scenario is you're wasting around 15 seconds of your time if we don't service your area, but if we do, you know you're in good hands :-)
9. I have pets, what do I do with them while you're cleaning ?
Some customers put them in their cages, some put them in their bathrooms, some take them for a walk, some put them in their balcony ( providing we don't have to use your balcony to drop our cleaning hoses down ), whichever one you choose to do, your door will be propped open due to our hoses, so if your pets are indoor pets, please put them away prior to our technician's arrival to avoid them running away.
10. Can you remove pet stains and / or odor ?
Pet stains are acids, there are only 2 kinds of carpets fibers that repels pet stains, they are polyester and olefin, if you have other than those 2 fibers, we may still be able to remove your stains, providing you haven't attempt to spot clean the stains your self, if you have the chance drops substantially, if you haven't, the chance are higher, if you just move in and you're not sure, our technician can look at them and most likely will be able to tell you if those stains are possible permanent stains or not, however if we make appointment for cleaning and the technician told you that the stains may not be removed and you don't want to have the job done, our minimum charge will apply ( $ 69 ) and will be due right then.
11. Do you give free in home estimate ?
Unfortunately we do not give in home estimate, we can give you a rough estimate based on your informations ( square footage or room counts ) but ultimately the total price would be depending on what needs to be done on the carpets.
12. Do you bill us ? and What method of payments do you take ?
Unfortunately we do not bill, all payments are due after the job is completed and We take cash, visa, mastercard and discover, we do not take checks ( personal nor business ) and we also do not take monopoly money :-)
