We clean all types of area rugs at our customer's home for their convenience, most rugs have solid backing that moisture will not go through it ( If you have wood floor, our technician will check after cleaning to make sure that there's no moisture trapped under the rug ), if you prefer to have it cleaned in your garage or on your driveway, we can certainly do that for you as well, just let our technicians know and they'll be happy to accommodate your needs.Very few area rugs may not be cleanable, for example if you purchased an exotic middle eastern rug 15 - 20 years ago or older, sometimes they don't have dye loc on them, this is a chemical compound that locks the dye in place so they don't run when moisture hits the fibers, you can usually tell by looking at some areas where you've spilled water, there will be some dye runs from the darker color to the lighter color, we always test these type of rugs prior to cleaning and if there is no dye loc, our suggestions would be to contact your local area rugs store and ask them if they can provide dye loc service or refer you to someone who can, after applications we can clean the rug for you.
